Recently I was browsing the web doing some logo research and I came across your "melt" logo and it is EXTREMELY similar to my company's word mark design and execution, developed around 2005-2006.
As a fellow designer and design enthusiast, I hope you can understand the need to protect my brand and identity. So I ask you if you can please not use this logo and please do not keep this "logo" hosted on this site.
My logo and mark that I have been using for many years can be seen at my website www.obsessedcreative.com
All of my contact info is available on the site as well if you would like to further discuss this issue. Like I said I hope that we can see eye to eye as designers and humans and not have to resort to legal means to solving this problem.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation

I am not one to jump in the middle of something like this, but seriously dude, if you EVEN tried to sue over this matter you would be laughed out of the courtroom. The design is similar, but that is about it. It is not a direct copy at all, not even a HINT of a copy. I design logo's as well commercially, and seriously you even asking about this on this guys front page and here is a complete joke. Essentially what you are saying is that Goodyear should sue Goodrich for making their tires round >.>
Similarities of such an insignificant nature as a slight tilt and wasting of the font is NOT going to fly in ANY court mate, trust me on that.
